No, our product helps recruiters and HR staff work more efficiently. It eliminates the tedious task of screening candidates, and hence the HR staff can focus on results.

Our software runs on the cloud and all heavy lifting and processes happens there. Simply use your favorite browser on your laptop, tablet or even mobile phone to do your job. We support the latest versions of major browsers (IE, Chrome, FireFox, Saffari). If you are uploading a lot of resumes all at once, we recommend broadband internet connection.

We extract the basic contact information from resumes like the candidate’s full name, email address, and phone number. We use these pieces of information to initiate communication with candidates for the machine-powered screening process. The resumes’ content is ingested into our AI system for matching with the provided job descriptions.

We support resumes in .docx, .doc, .rtf, .odt and plain text formats.

Each account has its dedicated storage to retain resumes and job descriptions. Each account’s storage is unavailable and unseen to other clients’ accounts. All clients’ data are traveling throughout our infrastructure ending up in our AI engine where the actual processing happens. Each client’s search results are only available to the same client.

A lake of resumes is the storage where resumes are retained and searched later on based on different job descriptions.

Parsing resumes happens for internal system usage but they are not meant to reveal parsing results as a part of the product’s feature. You will likely be able to find some products or services online to help you parse resumes.

No, not at all. You can apply as many job description as you wish to search against a lake.

If you decide to delete a lake from your account, we perform soft delete against the lake. It means that we make the lake inaccessible to you while retaining its entire data. If you wish to have your lakes deleted physically, please send us a support request.

We retain our clients’ lakes’ data in Microsoft‘s data center located in Toronto, Canada. If you wish to host your lakes outside of Canadian soil, please contact our sales department to discuss the details.

Simcoe is the name of Lake Simcoe in Ontario, Canada located right at 44° 26′ 12″ N79° 20′ 21″ W.

It’s a beautiful lake and its name inspired us so much that we named our business after it.
